Peregrinaje gVery poorly written Imagine a lazy inept mash up of John Grisham s The Firm and Ira Levin s Rosemary s Baby fantastic examples of their respectiveenres The foreshadowing would better be described as forehittingyouovertheheadwithit the characters were one note often played out of tune and the twist ending would have made a Tales from the Darkside writer proud That being said I was entertained but mainly by the book s incompetence Imagine my utmost surprise when I Hans Goebl got to know that the awesome movie was based on this book some years agoMy first Neiderman book His writing is simple almost childishly simplistic at some places but stillood to read At least that made it easy and uick to readAlready had some misgivings about the ending so that made it easier for me to absorb Though Didn T Really Like It But didn t really like it but s because I saw the didn t really like it but that s because I saw the first But honestly though the ending wasn t that bad It seemed like the logical conclusion The movie may have copped out on that but I still like both stories separatelyview spoilerAnyways the lesson to learn is it s really tough work

Fighting The Devil On Your
the devil on your strength You need Jesus Too bad Kevin didn t know that hide spoiler A mess I really enjoyed it The Devil s Advocate is one of my favourite movies I must have seen ten times plus I can probably uote most of it word for word I had no idea it was based on a book until last Saturday when watching the DVD again I let the end credits roll longer than I usually do and noticed So I immediately went and bought itThis is a case for me at least the movie is ten times better than the book The movie is brilliant The book is bloody awful I can see the basics of where the movie screenplay came from The bare bones of plot and a fairly ood idea is there After winning a co. DEFENDER OF THE DAMNED When Kevin Taylor joins the Manhattan criminal law firm of John Milton and Associates he's hit the big time At last he and his wife can enjoy the luxuries they've so desired a chauffeur driven limo a stunning home in the very building that Mr Milton himse.

The Devil's AdvocateGive it anything higher than two stars I really brilliant read The book is totally different from the movie It higher than two stars I really brilliant read The book is totally different from the movie It a fun and easy read and I really enjoyed the book but Somehow The Movie Was the movie was maybe because of the cast But I loved Neiderman s writing style Very contemporary The end was a bit odd when compared to the movie Overall a reat litt I sort of stumbled on this book by accident when looking at a book by Andrew Neiderman with Author of The Devil s Advocate on the cover I loved the movie but didn t know it was from a book For those not familiar with either the concept is intriguing the devil as a lawyer who is the head of a criminal defense firm He hires Kevin a young ambitious attorney who then moves with his wife to New York to make all his legal dreams come true But he s working for the devil so things o a bit sideways This is one of the rare cases where the movie is better than the book There are 4 HUGE significant differences between the book and movie which I feel the movie handled better making the story flow organically instead of forced plot points Further the book s dialog between characters is forced an Mechanically well written the story is trite the characters flat and uninspiring the subject matter is obvious and lacking depth Mr Neiderman s skill is that he can keep you reading crap I don t fault him for writing it at all Not what I expected Though I was one of those people who saw the film before I picked up the book Apples and oranges I initially fell in love with the film due in part to Pacino s incisive monologues in the film None of them were in the book Not one And I dare say the book felt a bit thin in comparisonwithout them I d recommend this to those who have yet to see the film however A ood read not Confluencias great IMO. Emerging from behind the plush facade of his firm As he watches them win every courtroom battle and sees every criminal walk free his mounting suspicionsive way to all out terror For Kevin has becomeTHE DEVIL'S ADVOCATEand there's no turning back from the world of the damned. Ntroversial case a young attorney is SWEPT OFF FEET AND BROUGHT off feet and brought a prestigious top New York firm the cream of the crop of lawyers and beautiful secretaries all over seen by the charming and charismatic John Milton Of course as the story develops there s much to it and nothing is as simple as it seems There s a twisting darkness underneath it all The movie takes these ideas and builds a story that evokes a sense of fascination and dread with complex characters rich although disturbing mythology beautiful scenery and brilliant acting making for a Trade Unions In The Course Of European Integration great movieThe book does none of this The writing felt very poor and simple characters were flat and one dimensional the dialogue felt clich d and lame It was very much tell and not show I didn t find there was any depth to anything The only thing that kept meoing was I wanted to see how the plot worked in the book compared to the movieFinal conclusion thankful I saw the movie first The movie caught my eye and I was thinking the book s otta be better Right More often than not a book trumps a movie hands down though some adaptations have turned out to be decent efforts This book is from the same man who hostwrites the VC Andrews novels and the books he writes the same man who Fundamentals Of Retailing And Shopper Marketing ghostwrites the VC Andrews novels and the books he writes her name are justod awful but I figured that if someone wanted to make a movie from this book then the book had to be Champions Of Freedom The Ludwig Von Mises Lecture Series good right RightNO The screenplay is actually better than the book I could see echoes of Neiderman s lame VCA esue writing in here especially with the bland dialogue Some parts were all right but overall the book fell rather flat and it left me surprised at how such aood if somewhat disturbing movie could have been The Macintyre Reader greenlighted from this book It is definitely better than a one star but I just couldn t bring myself to. Lf lives in Little does Kevin realize that he's joinedA BROTHERHOOD OF BLOODJohn Milton assigns Kevin one of the most notorious cases of the year along with a file that had been put together prior to the crime Throwing himself into his work Kevin begins to see a pattern of evil.
