SuperlifeIf you care about your health and have health skepticism for what goes on as conventional treatment from the Medical Industrial Complex this is a book worth a read I could relate to lot of the info the author lists here based on ersonal experience The importance of Water Nutrition Breathing Detoxification mental awareness The author writing style is very racy and engaging There are valuable tips atleast a few of which anyone can writing style is very racy and engaging There are valuable tips atleast a few of which anyone can to improve their hysical and overall health san any uackery or outlandish claims "PACKED WITH TONS OF INFORMATION SUPER LIFE CHANGING I "with tons "OF INFORMATION SUPER LIFE CHANGING I "information Super life changing I I checked it out Say yes to Olien s 5 life forces Just try them on in your life see if they fit they will I struggle living in a culture that romotes businesses and corporations that don t care about us and Australias Bush Poets Henry Lawson Part 1 profit from our blind obedience The Americaneople s lack of knowledge about how to truly be happy and healthy in the current time No Fury The Egg Of Renen Utet 1 period is frightening The years go forward but my age is reversing and has to in order to keep up with 6th graders Hydrate breathe move eat from the earth and read this book The elixirs of life the fountains of youth the well of immortality the holy grail of vitality is located within AT LEAST listen to Olien on someodcasts I highly recommend his interview on the Rich Roll Astrology podcast Eat and drink beautifully watch the youth brightness life andlay return to your life We are all living in ignorance in many ways but Olien is here to help us awaken to our most alive selves which will only benefit each other and the Eraks Ransom Rangers Apprentice 7 planet too The book has some good ideas but ultimately the author tries to spin a lot of hisersonal unfounded beliefs as fact As a member of the medical community I noticed that there were many things that he states which just did not make any sense Science is not erfect and it s easy to bash on it but that doesn t mean we should listen someone s ideas just because they sound nice Great read I like a book that doesn t just give me information but also stirs me into action and Superlofe did that for meOlien speaks about the 5 forces that will make you healthyIn his own words Eat Drink Detox Breathe Neutralize Good health is that simpleBut then he adds a 6th force attitude And art of that attitude is making the necessary changes after you receive the informationReading this book made me want to make the changes and I ve already started incorporating them in my lifeMore reviews at Packed full of useful information but still light and interesting to read I feel I need to read it again with The Miracle Of Stalag 8a Stalag Viii A Beauty Beyond The Horror pen andaper by my side just to take notes Very good The most important tip drink lots of water If I can describe this in one sentence it would be Ang Subersibo privileged man boasting about his lifestyle This book was good in terms of some of its content There were a lot of goodoints made about nutrition and lifestyle They made me rethink how I eat I am a vegan myself so seeing another vegan write a book felt good and it encouraged me to continue reading it even when I realized this book was definitely not written for The Well Of Gods Glory Unveiled people like me aka low income and definitely not able to travel as much Olienresents his data as groundbreaking facts even though none of the information he Seeing God In The Dark provides are news to many of us We have all heard that we should cut on meat and dairy to eat fruits and vegetables to stop eating sugary snacks and cut on frizzy drinks etc None of this is new scientists and experts have been telling us to do it for years and especially in the recent years So while I appreciated how this book was trying to remind us of that and show us how to live a better lifestyle and follow a better diet I have so many issues with it which I will list below 1 Off the start Olien warns us about how according to him disease does not exist and that all our muscle bone and other bodily aches and diseases are not normal Then he goes off to tell us that he does not really depend on science when it comes to figuring things out because he goes and get the information on his own Because science is not reliable according to him BUT throughout the book he turns to science to cite a lot of his data and cites many scholarly studies torove his Ready Or Not Dawdle Duckling point I am sorry but how does that make sense So I am not supposed to rely on science but I am supposed to take your data as evidence that are based on science Why evenut a disclaimer In Superlife Darin Olien rovides us with an entirely new way of thinking about health and wellbeing by identifying what he calls the life forces uality Nutrition Hydration Detoxification Oxygenation and Alkalization Olien demonstrates in great detail how to maintain these rocesses thereby allowing our bodies to do the rest He tells us how we can maintain healthy weight revent even the most serious ,
Ike that when you are going to use science anyway Plus why have a roblem with science in the first lace Science is not supposed to be rigid It is suppose to change with time because we learn with experience and discover evidence as we continue to research So relying on science is a good idea because it is constantly researching and finding ways to challenge itself That s the beauty of science There is no need to ditch it 2 There is a uote that I found disturbing in this book when Olien is talking about hydration and the importance of water It goes like this We are at our most beautiful when are roperly hydrated Ask any supermodel We even smell better First I think we all know how the modelling industry operates in terms of diet and eating disorders Many supermodels are underweight and do not follow a healthy diet In fact they send a disturbing message to the younger audience that romotes under eating Comparing being fully hydrated to a supermodel body sends the wrong message especially to those of us with eating disorders It is inappropriate and I do not think it should be in a book about nutrition and a healthy lifestyle 3 Claiming a bunch of diseases and disorders are directly linked to dehydration such as ADHD with no evidence listed whatsoever sounds far fetched and irresponsible There were no studies listed No cases mentioned It was basically romoting indirectly to stop taking medications and drink water listed No cases mentioned It was basically romoting indirectly to stop taking medications and drink water your ADHD will disappear This sends a dangerous message especially for those who have severe cases of ADHD Sure water is very good for us and I am sure if we can all drink at least 6 8 cups of water a day we will feel better But that does not mean it will solve every disease and disorder out there It is just childish to claim such a thing with no evidence The Island Of Hope provided AT ALL 4 Chapter 10 is basically a chapter about Olien s life I would not even bother reading it if I were you It was basically his way of trying to shame the rest of us because his lifestyle is way better It just sounded so silly because his job is to educate and not to shame He talked about how he makes his own water and works out six days a week with some other awesome guys who challenge themselves everyday How he basically travels the world and finds information on his own without relying on anybody else and how we should all do the same basically The truth is specific details about his life should not be so relevant about a book about nutrition5 Olien makes his experiences universal This is a big no especially in the scientific world because it is so inaccurate What works for some of us does not necessarily work for the rest of us In addition he tells the rest of us to invest in organic food because yes it is way better for us than non organic But telling us toay extra 4 for organic blueberries instead of non organic because he d rather see us spending it on good food than spending it on medication later tells me how he lives in his own bubble and has no idea whatsoever how the rest of us live So many of us are low income families and cannot afford to ay 6 for organic blueberries Otherwise we would literally starve Organic food is expensive and let s be honest only upper middle class and up would be able to buy everything organic You would think in a book about nutrition the author would be mindful of class dynamics and how many eople are struggling with overty and they may need a different and affordable option for eating better But nope he does not offer an affordable alternative because who cares about low income families when it comes to nutrition He even recommends that we all buy a machine that makes water that costs only a couple thousand dollars but it is so worth it because he did it and he knows the rest of us will benefit from it But who can afford that for a machine that makes water I mean seriously This book is literally intended for rich rivileged Earthquakes Earth Books For Kids Earth Early Reader Books Book 3 people who are do not know how to spend their money 6 Promoting restrictive eating I am vegan and I do not eat any meat dairy or honeyroducts Yet I still don t consider my eating restrictive compared to what Olien was promoting in this book He basically does not believe we should eat any refined sugar flour or evenasta because it is bad for you Talk about restrictive much Literally everything we buy has some sort of refined sugar in them It s almost impossibl. F diseases and feel great He explains that all of this is How To Be A Finance Rock Star possible without any of the restrictive or gimmicky dietlans that never work in the long termOlien has traveled the world exploring the health The Portrait Of A Lady By Henry James Fiction Classics properties of foods that have sustained indigenous cultures for centuries Putting his research intoractice he has created a uniue and Szalony Statek Cz 2 Kupcy I Ich Ywostatki 2 proven formula for maximizing our bodies’otential He also incl.

E to avoid Does Olien really I am going to believe That He Never Eats he never eats refined sugar I sorry but that just sounds like straight up hypocrisy and food shaming The Foreign Language Teachers Suggestopedic Manual people I understand refined sugar is not good for us but so is meat and diary What was theoint of focusing so much on one but not the other It was very inconsistent He even recommended tossing table salt because it is not good for us and use Himalayan salt instead How difficult is to find Himalayan salt How expensive it is Again I am sure many of us would starve if we bought everything he told us to buy 7 Inconsistency In one chapter he tells us how we should not drink tap or distilled water then in another he tells us to drink distilled water but add unrefined Himalayan salt to it But then oh no don t even do that just buy your own machine of water So what should we do He also cites how meat and diary are so bad for us and uses scholarly article to back his claim up but then tells us how yogurt and some butter are good to consume So which one is it There were multiple other inconsistencies throughout the whole book and it was just unprofessional 8 A lot of his claims were just claims with no data to back it up whatsoever He would say something and use it as fact but does not cite any data or evidence to Das House Buch Fr Hypochonderdie Behandlungsmethoden Im Reality Check prove it How are water linked to emotion for example It is very unprofessional to claim something in a book about nutrition and use it as fact with no intention ofroving its source then go around and bash science instead I am sorry but how are we not supposed to rely on science but we are supposed to rely on what Olien says just because he says it It sounds ridiculous 9 Lastly the tile of the book It sounds as a fake self help book with no sense whatsoever What does eternally awesome mean How can we define healthy here This should ve been my clue when I first Unhas picked this book up but alas I read it anyway and did not notice how silly the tile sounds Overall this book was not good Sure it offered some valid information on nutrition but nothing was groundbreaking and a lot of its information were unfounded on fact A lot of the claims made no sense and itromoted a very In Chimley Corner privileged lifestyle with no intention of making it reasonable for the rest of us It was also inconsistent Did I enjoy this book A little yes and that s why I gave it 2 stars Would I recommend it to othereople No because it does not offer anything new Maybe just as reminder to eat better but only some The Dream Carvers parts of the book I am really disappointed because I was looking forward to reading this book I liked a lot of his ideas especially the chapter How to Eat Tough love in that chapter and it really resonated with me I enjoyed the chapter about fair trade and how he isassionate about getting out into the fields and meeting all the eople he sources the ingredients from and making sure deals work for all artiesBut the Water and Me chapter Water absorbs emotion and has feelings and all deals work for all artiesBut the Water and Me chapter Water absorbs emotion and has feelings and all Nope It was over the top And basically Don t drink distilled water or spring water and definitely don t drink tap water Wait distilled water is good but only if you add special unrefined Himalayan crystal salt to it But really you should just make your own water Yeah right Some things are just not realistic for every day eople to do No one is going to make their own water or figure out the source of ALL their foods One step at a time though towards eating better and living healthier Life changingThis book has changed my life Even whilst reading it I began to make changes I threw out all my syrups low calorie bought salad stuff invested in organic owders to ut in the vegan rotein shakes I d already had I know about my body now then I ever have before I also feel better euipped to face my endometriosis and IVF head on This is a lifestyle change and one I don t want to change I thought I was healthy on the opular diet most eople follow I m glad to step away from syns and eat healthy fats like walnuts and avocadoWithout the series on Netflix I wouldn t have found this book for that I m grateful I won a copy of this book from GoodReadsThe author is well educated on how to maintain and maximize the human body I enjoyed the book but not everyone can financially follow through with how we would like to eat However taking small steps and making changes little by little is a great feeling. Udes a “How to eat” user’s guide with a shopping list advice on “what to throw away” a guide to creating a healthy balanced diet lan and advice on how to use supplements effectivelyWritten in Olien’s engaging conversational style Superlife is a one of a kind comprehensive look at dieting and nutrition a timeless and essential guide to maintaining the human body and maximizing its otential.
