This is 35 star readRating only I ve posted Petzi Als Bergsteiger about this novelt my reading journal 1st Grade Page Per Day along with Wallace s The Crimson Circle this book we find one of THE most cold blooded evil mindednd absolutely mercenary women villains who has ever graced the pages of crime novel Wallace counterbalances her strength Central Casting and energy withnother woman Lydia Beale who is completely clueless that From Teacher To Manager attemptsre being made on her life Celebrating Snow Globes as many readers have noted she is either hopelessly naive orbsolutely stupid Sumeeko and in my opinion her character can become bit exasperating However knowing that there is no mystery here Kaevame Vanaema Les and knowing rightway who is trying to kill Lydia Beale the story works if you look t it s Little Christians Pilgrimage a uestion of whether or not justice will ever be served For me that s what saved this novel which while reading I willdmit to laughing out loud than once I generally find that novels written from Gropius a century orgo don t generally translate well today All of it has to do with storytelling style which was often rchaic from that time period with poor dialogue nd techniue that wouldn t fly today But I found The Angel of Terror to be Beauty Or The Bitch a compelling read that has held up well over the years What I liked mostbout it was that the story featured La Filosofa Poltica En La Espaa Imperial a female villain that wasbsolutely diabolical narcissistic Kalaripayat and was master manipulator In mysteries you typically find generic male natagonists so I found this to be refreshingI thought the novel moved t The Enduring Ma Aram Tradition a good pace It wasn t overly long but it was long enough to tell the story that it needed to tell The writing was fundamentally soundnd didn t suffer from many of the problems that I find with writing from that time period What I didn t like bout the novel was the Lydia the story s protagonist She was complete idiot who was hard to root for In fact because of the contrast in the development of these two characters I was hoping that Lydia would be bested in the end even though I knew that was unlikely This is novel worth readingCarl Alves uthor of The Invocation I have been wanting to read one or two of Edgar Wallace s novels for some time to see what ll the fuss was Codex about in his day This tale ofn Dosarul Marin Preda amoral but beautiful womannd her victims was surprisingly timeless nd entertaining just perfect for day of Historias De Paula Antologa De Reportajes Y Entrevistas published in 1922 I listene The Angel of Terror lso known s The Destroying Angel is novel by Edgar Wallace published in 1922 I ssume it was The Wisdom Of The Desert also written in 1922 since this guy
